Windsor Walk South Car Park Lighting Upgrade

Notice of Proposed Works

One of the car park improvements being undertaken is car park lighting. Lighting is being upgraded and/or installed in accordance with Australian Standards for open space lighting.

The Windsor Walk south car park has final lighting upgrade works programmed for March 2016. A delay in finalising these works has occurred due to in ground service installation complications. The proposed works have been identified as being located close to your organisation. The works are anticipated to have a relatively minor temporary impact on car parking in the area.

Proposed Works
The proposed works comprise of the installation of underground services 5 post top light fittings to the car park. Fittings consistent with adjacent areas will be installed.

Timing of the Works
The work is programmed to be undertaken between 1 and 29 March 2016.

Temporary Impacts
The works will require the full closure of the Windsor Walk south car park to allow the NCA’s contractors to install underground services and the above ground lighting equipment.

On site works will involve excavation and electrical installation works. Temporary barriers will be erected around the works for safety purposes.

There will be a temporary increase in construction vehicles in the area during the works.
