We are pleased to present the annual report for the National Capital Authority (NCA) for the year ended 30 June 2011.

The report has been prepared in accordance with section 50(1) of the Australian Capital Territory (Planning and Land Management) Act 1988 and reflects the requirements for Annual Reports approved by the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit under subsections 63(2) and 70(2) of the Public Service Act 1999 (updated July 2011).

The report includes the NCA's audited financial statements as required by section 57 of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997.

Section 50(2) of the Australian Capital Territory (Planning and Land Management) Act 1988 requires that you cause a copy of the report to be laid before each House of the Parliament within 15 sitting days of that House after you receive the report.
